The people of Okinawa, Japan, are celebrated as some of the leanest, healthiest individuals on Earth. Nestled in the Pacific, this legendary "Blue Zone" boasts an extraordinary percentage of centenarians who maintain vibrant physical vitality well into their golden years.
What's more, less than 3% of the Okinawan population is overweight. Interestingly, while modern wellness trends often fear carbohydrates, over 70% of the traditional Okinawan diet consists of nutrient-dense, complex carbs like sweet potatoes and local grains.
According to wellness researchers, the secret to their remarkable longevity may be linked to a deeply ingrained daily ritual: consuming more tea, per capita, than almost any other population in the world.
The average Okinawan drinks at least 2 cups of tea daily. Interestingly, this isn't just any kind of tea. This tea is Okinawan Tea.
Unlike your run-of-the-mill green and black teas, the tea blends popular throughout Okinawa are delicious and very rich in exceptional cellular defenders, including active catechins, powerful antioxidants, and epigallocatechin gallate (EGCG). These potent nutrients work dynamically from the inside out to support an active metabolism, foster optimal cardiovascular wellness, and maintain a grounded sense of lifelong health.
Authentic Okinawan Tea is rich in natural minerals and plant compounds, including catechins, EGCG, and polyphenols. These nutrients work in gentle harmony with your system to deliver multi-faceted wellness support:
- Weight and Metabolic Support: Formulated to assist the body's natural carbohydrate metabolism and support a healthy metabolic rate through high EGCG concentrations.
- Antioxidant Protection: Provides natural antioxidant support to help protect cellular structures and maintain general well-being.
- Cognitive & Emotional Balance: Supports mental well-being and provides a natural calming effect to help maintain focus during demanding days.
- Immune & Cellular Health: Packed with antioxidants to support immune system and defend against free radical damage.
- Skin Vitality: High catechin content maintains skin health and promotes a radiant appearance from the inside out.
- Fasting Support: Ideal during the fasting window, delivering potent antioxidants to help support your fasting goals, maximise fasting results, maintain natural energy levels, and complement a healthy, calorie-controlled fasting lifestyle.

Live to a hundred
Presenter: Bernadette Young
"Yes you can live to be a hundred years old ... and be fit and alert while you're at the same time. The Japanese island of Okinawa has the world's highest prevalence of centenarians. Dr Bradley Wilcox from the Pacific Health research Institute has spent ten years studying why people in Okinawa live so long."
Forever Young
Presenter: Liam Bartlett
"...Mind you, in a far less severe way, our time in Okinawa showed clearly that you don’t have to go gaunt to grow old. The locals there have been essentially living a ‘CR’ lifestyle, in a more sensible way, for generations and the result is more centenarians per capita than any other place on earth. We met a beautiful lady called Chiyoko Asato who, at 110, is one of the oldest on the island (and the world for that matter!). She was sprightly and happy with lovely skin and a fabulous laugh that reflected a wonderful spirit. And in true Japanese fashion, she was insistent we polished off all the tea and juice and biscuits that she could muster. I left her home thinking if Dr David Sinclair could guarantee my 110th year to be that good, he will truly be creating a medical miracle."

Have been drinking Okinawan Green Tea for many years after reading an article about the the people of Okinawa. Figured if it worked so well for them then why not give it a try. Am so glad I did.
The fresh taste makes it a great way to start the day and definitely helps to keep me healthy. It’s also quite tasty with a slice of lemon included in it.
Am quite pleased with the simple pouch system - takes up less room in the pantry cupboard and the tea stays very fresh in the self sealed pouch.

Excellent green tea- very refreshing. Quality control not so good- 2 empty packets (no tea bag) and 1 almost empty teabag in the first box. Hope the rest are ok!
Dear Steve. Thanks for your feedback. We do apologize for the faulty teabags found in the box. This happened among the Standard Teabags before. This manufacturing issue has been seriously addressed since we introduced the hand-made enhanced large teabags. Some replacement teabags are on the way for you!
